Gerard van Steyn, CEO of SCI Consulting Group, focuses on strategic direction, new and existing services, policy initiatives and corporate issues. Gerard has been with SCI for more than two decades. Gerard has extensive experience in the areas of feasibility analysis, mitigation fees, opinion research, planning, real property data, real estate, voter campaigns, outreach, messaging and elections. He served as the lead consultant for 30 ballot measures that currently generate over $250 million per year for a wide variety of public improvements and services. Gerard attended UC Davis, where he graduated magna cum laude in Managerial Economics. He subsequently received a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. Prior to joining SCI, he worked as a financial consultant to large corporations.
